Cousin's Incredible Vitality Review
A place to get real wholesome food at a nice price. The vegan options are good and the service is polite and friendly. I always feel relaxed in this place and not rushed to finish my food and get out. A must place for all vegans.

Mr. Beef and Pizza Review
The absolute BEST beef in Chicago. I wouldn't go anywhere else because it would be a disappointment to not be eating Mr Beef on Harlem. The atmosphere is excellent - 50's rockabilly with pictures of James and Marylin, red sparkle car-seat booths and palm trees.

I take friends, family and clients into Mr. Beef any chance I get just to show them what a real, chicago style itailian beef is supposed to taste like. I am hungry just thinking about it!

Viaggio Ristorante & Lounge Review
Had a chance to taste the food a Viaggio's.The food is genuine Southern Italian with large tasty portions. Appetizers are fresh and new. The waite staff is also exceptional. We had a sweet waitress, I believe her name was Tina who recommended a great seafood and pasta course. Their was enough to take home and I'm eating it as I write. I'll be back.

Aunt Diana's Candy Makers Review

Mars Gallery Review
Mars Gallery is phenomenal! In a swarm of stale, cold, and harsh-lit galleries, Mars is fresh, fun, and fantastic for growing your art collection. I find it funny someone would comment on a hair...it is obviously a hair from a painter's brush, which means it's just that more authentic! Love the art, the people, and the parties at Mars! I've thrown a party here as well, and no other rental space could compare; it was awesome. Thank you Mars Gallery!

Russell's Barbecue Review
The first time I had the pleasure of a russell's bbq sandwich, I was four years old, back in 1956. I have never found another one like it no matter where I go. I now live in Santa Barbara, and I would be brought to tears at the chance to enjoy another one of those amazing sandwiches, and a slab of ribs. We are going to visit Chicago next year for a family reunion, and I think that is an excuse to go to Russell's again.

Morgan Park Roots Festival Review
I'm pretty much a new coming, but I've been able to enjoy the Morgan Park Roots Festival, we spend the day with family and friends, eating bar-be-que enjoying the music etc, it’s a must do for my family. It’s wonderful when a community can come together and just have fun. together.

Chicago Printmakers Collaborative Review
I drove past your building for the first time and was stopped in traffic. I managed to get out my camera and take a picture of all the faces in your windows before moving forward. What a great tribute to the fallen. It's a shame you ran out of windows instead of faces! Now I want to come by your gallery and check out the inside. The outside was soooo moving I can only imagine the creative works on the inside.

Little Black Pearl Art and Design Center Review
I came in to offer free tickets to the Infinite Dreamer Stage Play to their students and was invited to teach dance there. It is such a beautiful space and the staff is very warm. It was a great experience for a performing artist to be among such wonderful art from pros to children's art...and great coffee too.

Club Paradis Review
Great place to dance the night away in the burbs. Tried the Salsa night one Wednesday too and had a really good time (and an extra workout that week). Have eaten there too and food was excellent.

Ole St. Andrew's Inn Review
Their all rib tips are surpassed only by their all you can eat fish and chips. It's a hard choice. They have an interesting assortment of appetizers but the best is their calamari. I don't like spicy so I get them with lemon juice only. The owner, Julius, must have a real green thumb because eating in his sidewalk cafe is like eating in a garden.

Barry's Spot Review
Barry's is an Edgewater institution, although the original Barry has long retired. I love their rib tips and barbecued chicken. You can buy any part of the chicken and they fry it before putting on the barbecue sauce.

Cafe Marbella Tapas Review
My partner and I ate at Cafe Marbella last week. The whole experience was exceptional. The food (we ordered 8 different hot tapas) was extremely well prepared. The service was well paced. Each tapas was bought out with clean small plates and cleared before the next one came. The ambience was good except for the loud music initially. It was turned down half way through our meal.

Little Black Pearl Art and Design Center Review
I toured Little Black Pearl, exhibited some of my own work there and attended an auction for the South Side Community Art Center there among other visits. It is a beautiful, full service facility,well maintained and provides a great place for young artists to learn and thrive. Everyone should plan a visit. You can purchase art there as well, by students and professionals!

Skyway Lanes Review
I am not a league bowler but I love to bowl. I like Skyway 'cause it's family friendly and the staff is friendly. When we have family or club outings we use the Skyway; as a matter of fact I'm about to set up a candlelight bowl for next year - sure hope my days are available.

Tony Spavone's Ristorante Review
Tony is the best! I order something different each time and it's great. You never know what star is going to drop in. Last night Peter Guerin was there. We were at a wake accross the street for a family memeber who was a die-hard Elvis fan. We asked Mr. Guerin if he would come to the wake and sing a Elvis song.Both Mr Guerin and Tony came over! This is what seperates celebrity from star! We can't thank you both enough! Mike

Piccolo Sogno Review
The ravioli melts in your mouth!! I have been eating Italian food my whole life and I've never tasted anything this good!

And the outdoor patio with trees and candlelight dining (behind a fence, which is wonderful so you avoid the cars and the noise) is so relaxing, you feel like you've been translated to another place and another time. My new favorite Chicago restaurant!

Zoba Noodle Bar Review
Zoba may look like just another noodle bar, but take a close look at that fine print under its logo.

"Homemade Noodles"

Now I should warn you that the homemade noodles come in just one size/shape (they resemble linguine), so some of the noodles at Zoba are not homemade. If in doubt, ask your server which dishes boast the homemade noodles.

These noodles are divine. The sauces, meats and veggies are just fine, but it is the noodles that keep me coming back. Tender and elastic yet also firm and substantial, these are a real treat. Plus, portions are huge. . .I typically get three meals out of each order.

Incidentally, these noodles are so good that you probably want to get them in a dish that features a lighter sauce. I have had them in a panang curry as well as a peanut sauce, and while both were good, the lighter spicy and basil sauces were even better.

Great thai coffee and tea, super friendly service, and cheerful decor make this spot a winner.

Highwood Fine Arts Festival Review
This is a small but excellent festival. Much improved over last year, certainly helped by not competing with Port Clinton.

Overall quality was wonderful. There were a lot of unique artists and the prices were reasonable.

This could become a favorite if the quality stays the same.
